Judyanna Yu, Regional Director – Central & Northern Alberta
Judyanna has over fifteen years of diverse and progressive experience in public practice and industry, and advanced knowledge and expertise in providing a deep dive review of an organization to assist in the design & implementation of an overall strategic plan. Having lived and worked in eight different cities in North America and Asia, her international exposure and experience allows her to effectively formulate sustainable and robust business strategies and plans.
Judyanna’s areas of focus include debt and equity financing, M&A, IPO, business development, cross border expansions and partnerships, internal controls and risk management in a variety of sectors, including biotechnology (Re-Stem Biotech and Cerecin, Inc.), health and life sciences (Biochem Group), software and financial services (IFDS Group), consumer & retail, technology and media. She has acted as COO and CFO for public and private organizations and is also an entrepreneur. In previous executive roles, Judyanna has led all financial functions, as well as significant aspects of operations, business development and stakeholder relations. She plays a key role in optimization of financial and operational performance through the provision of financial and business analysis to facilitate decision-making.
As a previous auditor for public companies at KPMG and Manning Elliott LLP as well as her senior executive roles for public companies, Judyanna appreciates the importance of accurate, informative and timely financial and operational information as balanced against addressing the needs of her team members in a driven and results-oriented environment.
Judyanna graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with distinction at the University of Alberta and holds a CPA, CA and CPA (Washington, USA) designations.
