Patrick has over 30 years experience covering the financial services sector (TD), transportation/logistics (Loomis and Purolator Courier) and corporate travel (HRG plc). During the past 15 years, he performed the role of chief financial decision maker where he gained significant expertise and skills in acquisitions/divestitures, financial/corporate restructuring through LBO’s, MBO’s and IPO’s, business consolidation in Canada and USA, project management, system integration & enhanced business reporting including SQI’s, and KPI’s all aligned to business strategy and goals.
He has championed all aspects of shared services including finance/accounting, facilities, business technology and human resources (received The Globe and Mail’s 50 Best Employers award). He has directed relocation projects involving out of province/country relocations for both employees and underlying business processes all designed for the economic benefit of the business without comprising quality or team morale.
Patrick’s international expertise ranges from North America (NYC, Toronto) and two years in the UK where he had oversight for global strategy development (42 countries) and special projects to rationalize global
synergies as a result of the economic downturn in 2008.
A graduate from Ryerson University (Business), he earned his CGA designation in 1983.
