His industry experience includes CFO roles in multi-national food production (Borden Foods), private equity backed dairy (Liberté), greenhouses (One Floral), weight loss (Herbal Magic), grass-fed beef (Stronach Group) and plant based protein burgers (Sol Cusine). A highlight of Philip’s robust career is helping transform Liberté from a provincial operation to a successful national and multi-national organization. In this role, Philip helped deliver 100% sales and EBITDA growth within 5 years, resulting in a 7x return on the shareholders’ investment.
A visionary leader who instills trust with his superior EQ, Philip embraces the challenge of transforming organizations and driving major growth. He is recognized for insightful management accounting, risk control, governance, and strong leadership. Also of great importance to Philip is philanthropic work: he has worked with Sick Kids Foundation, Run for the Cure and Habitat for Humanity International, just to name a few.
Philip received his BA in Business Studies, Information Technology from Middlesex University in London, his Associate Chartered Management Accounting Certificate from CIMA-UK, and his Chartered Global Management Accountant Certificate from the AICPA. Philip is a bilingual executive who speaks English and Spanish, as well as a little German and French.
